April 2021 Recap

April 2021 Recap

Personally, April was a good month. Easter, time with friends, lots of sunshine and time outdoors, and new artwork released into the world! After pulling this recap together and reflecting on the month, I'm incredibly grateful for this Erin Droese Designs community. A place where I get to play with color and design, have an idea and then execute it, and share it with each of you. Whether you realize it or not, all of you are my collaborators. I'm thinking of time spent with my friends, what my mom would like in her living room, what would be a great gift, and it goes on. So thanks for sharing, letting me know what you think, what subjects you get excited about, etc.! Here's a little recap in photos of a wonderful month:

Lots of time outdoors with the dogs (Murphy pictured here) and my beloved snowball viburnum.

Easter was a wonderful day spent with friends! I took the opportunity to make this Orange Glazed Bundt Cake and it was...so good. Ate it with fresh strawberries for breakfast the rest of the week!

Released the West Coast Print! One of my favorite pieces in my sketchbook is now available for YOU to have, too!

Released mini (6x9) and large (9x12) coastal scenes! Read more about the inspo behind these paintings here.

Went vintage rug shopping!

Sean bought this chipping mat and I have admittedly become a little obsessed with chipping balls in the backyard after work.

Now - tell me! How was your April? What do you want to see from Erin Droese Designs in the future? Can't wait to hear from you!

Cheers!
Erin
